Our offices are located in the Mayo Healthcare Centre in the grounds of the Mayo
Private Hospital.
To ensure the safe, early and sustainable return to work of all injured workers.
To help reduce the financial burden associated with a work injury such as high
premiums, decreased productivity, decreased staff morale, loss of experienced staff
and cost of retraining new staff for employers.
To reduce the economic, social and human cost of disability to employees, employers
and the broader community of the Manning Valley/Great Lakes region.
We are currently staffed by a very experienced Occupational Therapist, Sarah
Tibbey, who has 9 years working in injury management, including 4 years as an
on-site contract provider to the B.H.P. Steelworks in Newcastle as well as a
variety of other workplaces. Sarah also comes with a background in O.H. & S and
disability driver assessment and has undergone Rehabilitation Co-ordination
training.
We have access to other experienced staff such as Physiotherapists, Psychologists,
Speech Pathologists, Dietitians and Medical Specialists to assist with an early
return to work.
