 Community Outreach Service (Private)  A community mental health service is available to people living in the Taree and Forster area that have private health insurance. A qualified mental health professional would visit you in your home to monitor and assist you in your mental health needs. Community Outreach Service Program (Public) A trained mental health nurse would be involved in the care plan process with your general practitioner and the psychiatrist. This is a government incentive. This service aims to assist people in their transition from hospital to home and assist people to remain in the community. Participation in Mayo Community outreach programs must be via referral from a Mayo accredited psychiatrist. Enquiries from prospective attendees, relatives/carers and health professionals are welcome and encouraged.
