The Dialysis unit is based at the Mayo Private Hospital in Taree, the unit is staffed by trained Registered Nurses
who are committed to providing excellence in healthcare. We have access to medical staff during dialysis hours, there
is a Resident Doctor available 24 hours a day seven days a week, and the Nephrologist Doctor in charge of the unit has
his consulting rooms on site in the Mayo Specialist Centre. The unit also has the full resources of the Mayo Private
Hospital as support.
We have four inter-connected rooms, each with an electric dialysis chair providing patients with privacy in a closely
supervised environment. Patients can have their dialysis in a quiet rural out look, only minutes away from the Taree
CBD.
The unit has four Fresenius 4008S dialysis machines. This gives us the ability to use on-line clearance monitoring to
actively monitor the effectiveness of your dialysis treatment, while you are having dialysis. The dialysis machines
have the key features of allowing staff to monitor patient's blood volumes, and blood temperature. This provides staff
the ability to assess a patient's vascular refill time, and to monitor the patient's fistula health.

and comfort is our prime concern.
